I have been very absent lately and I thought I'd show you some of all the things going on in my life through my iPhone.
I had 8 days off work and David and I had lots of plans for that week. First up was a trip to Copenhagen, Denmark.
We had these two happy people tagging along in our car and dropped them off in Malmö. Ida and Christian made the car ride such a joy and had even made sandwiches and home made elderberry lemonade for a short stop during the trip.
In Copenhagen! We ate a lot of nice food during our weekend. David had a pizza with potatoes on it and it was a hit!
I had this. Very very tasty.
And the day after we shared this.
Iced coffee break resting our feet.
We went to lots of fleamarkets and I took many photos with my camera so I'll be back to show you more some other day.
Breakfast sunday morning. We had plans for the day and David was eager to get going. I had to drink fast. Hurry hurry!
This is a rare sighting. David among alcohol.
We were stocking up on drinks for the wedding and since David doesn't drink any alcohol it was up to me to choose. So if we bought disgusting wine it's all on me..
Then we made our way back over the bridge to Sweden and came to my family's house in Rörum! My sister was there with my niece and brand new little nephew.
Alfred seems to be a bit confused by all the attention.
Hilda is a wild one.
Astor the cat was enjoying the calm outdoors. Poor Astor, the house was not a safe zone for him. He seemed to take it all in stride, though.
My sister and Hilda took their job as Fly Hunters very seriously. I love how Hilda is trying to make the same crazy face as her mother.
One day David and I was in Simrishamn to eat lunch at the beautiful garden café Apotekarns. This was the view from our table.
I was happy in my "Naughty farmer's daughter dress" and new sunglasses from The Shade Company (and pepper between my teeth...shhhhh).
Us.
We took evening walks among the hills and looked at "our" tree in the distance.
And we climbed the hill to see it up close too. This is where we're getting married on august 24.
And this is the feeling I get every time I'm there. It just blows my mind and makes me want to dance!
Running down that hill in a Kate Bush sort of moment.
Feeling the love strongly.
This is forever going to be a place that makes my heart squeeze. It has been special since I first saw it three years ago but now it will be associated with us too. You and me, David.
Contemplating, watching the sun set, looking at sheep.
One day we found a kitten.
I wanted to keep it.
As every cat I see.
Sadly it was not mine to keep.
And I'm a bit allergic.
Bummer.
Another evening stroll. This time under the full moon.
The last rays of sunshine brightened the straws of grass along the road.
Telling secrets to my nephew. He's not all impressed...
But here he's listening intently. Learning a lot from auntie Lotta. Who's the best auntie?
And then it was time to leave. The entire family waved us off and we went home to our quiet apartment.

This week has been all about work and preparations. I have lots of photos to show you. Part 2 from my Papyrus photoshoot with Hanna but also a post from one evening last week when we found half a bridge in the middle of nowhere.
That is going to be a great post, I know it!

See you soon!

My mom came to visit me and David this weekend. We had planned for lots and lots of fleamarkets and walking around in the city. The weather prognosis for the weekend had been really bleak with a lot of rain but that turned out to be beautifully wrong because the sun was shining all day, every day.
On my way to the train station to meet up with my mother.
Stopped for half a second to take this picture and noticed afterwards that the toothless man in the middle looked straight at me with that great smile. I love when that happens!
I had to show her Antikhallarna, of course.
And the lilacs had just started to bloom.
When we came home after an entire day walking around town we started with the old jigsaw puzzle I bought at a fleamarket a while ago. This is from the late 50's or early 60's. My mother and I collect these old jigsaw puzzles because they are not at all like the ones they sell nowadays. For one thing, there is no picture on the box so you have no idea how it will turn out. And each and every one of the pieces are different in size and shape.
We moved into the kitchen.
(Please, ignore the paper bags with recycling.)
Just before midnight we were finished. And this is how it looked in the morning light when I had to move it to make room for breakfast. Pretty, isn't it!?
On sunday it was time for Megaloppis! It's a giant annual fleamarket that takes over an entire part of town.
David with sunshine in his eyes.
Protected from sunburnt head.
Stuff everywhere!
Love how this girl had bought a disco ball.
We met up with my dad and a friend of his because they had been in town over the weekend for their annual meetup. Every spring for 43 years now a bunch of old friends have met up in Gothenburg for a party, isn't that great! Here you can see my mom on the picture talking to my dad's friend while dad is buying yet another book, probably.
This man had made a great find!

Now I have to go, Scotland is calling my name!
Last thursday I spent a few hours in the park Trädgårdsföreningen with my sister and niece who was in Gothenburg over the week.
I love Trädgårsdföreningen, I know I go on and on about it, and this was my first visit there for this year. It was sunny and lovely and it was good I brought my camera with me. I'll show you.
My standard Trädgårdsföreningen picture. First one with snow I think. Last year spring came a lot earlier. See this post from march 24. It was so warm for the season and now it's the other way around.
After some fika we went to Palmhuset (Palm house) to enjoy some nice weather. I love greenhouses!
They had made the garden even prettier with crocheted fantasy fruits and flowers hanging from the trees. Beautiful!
The statue was covered in frogs. I love this statue, it's so sweet.
In the water house the pond is covered with green.
Sunshine through leaves must be one of the best things in the world.
My niece Hilda wanted to dive into the pond. She was hanging like this for quite some time.
It was not very popular when we decided it was enough with the water room...
Reflections on the pond. Water, roof, glass, plants. Lovely shapes.
Tiny leaves huddling together.
It was a jungle!
Tiny person climbing the stairs, little hands taking support from a brick wall.
View from above.
I found a hidden message.
Hilda found another pond.
Enthusiastic.
Don't usually like to edit my photos like this but that red jacket just screamed to me to try. What do you think?
I kind of like it but I think I still like the full colours better.
On the tram, on our way back. She is one cute little person.
Look how she's posing! Haha!

Today I'm off from work. I've got lots to do with my own business so I'd better get to it now.
Hope you have a lovely first day of the week. Mondays aren't so bad when you've been working the weekend.

Yes, yes, I know. I've been a very bad blogger lately. I'm so sorry but I've been busy, tired, bored and then I caught a cold that had me laying in the sofa all day long for four days. Now I'm almost healthy and very happy to be blogging again.
So, it's been christmas, right?
I have some photos to show you, so here we go!
Astor the Cat and Sneaky Santa.
I was looking extra fancy for David's and my anniversary day.
Even got some love from Astor that day. He is a sweet and fat cat.
The day before christmas eve was christmas for David and me. We exchanged christmas gifts first thing in the morning.
David got this from me. We had seen it months ago in a video on youtube and laughed at it and now it was time to try it...
We were watching the video at the same time because the japanese instructions on the box wasn't all easy to understand.
Lots of tiny bags of powder to mix with water...
Making dough...
And the finished plate! Hahaha! This is so absurd. It tastes like hamburger!
Dinner at my parent's one evening.
The morning of christmas eve. Astor the cat want's to get that hugged and loved feeling and takes what he can get.
A couple of days after christmas my sister and niece came to visit.
It was so nice to see them!
David and I had to go back home the day after so we didn't have that much time with them.

Now it's a new year and I have lots to look forward to this year. I think it will be a marvelous 2013 actually.
I'm going to make a 2012 recap soon, I promise I wont leave you for over a week this time.

Bye for now dear friends and readers! I hope your christmas and new years eve was lovely.
