My phone is filled to the brim with photos again! Let's take a peek.
When David and I were on our way to a fleamarket we had to stop and ask the locals for direction. They were not very helpful.
Our neighbourhood chestnut tree started to blossom. A lot.
I went out running. Yes, it's true. On my way home I stopped and looked up in to the green for a while.
I have been waiting for the ferry a lot. And taking photos of strangers...
One day last week it was super hot but on the ferry it was lovely and windy! So practical when I've been riding my bike really fast and getting all sweaty. Thank you wind for making me look fresh again in no time!
I've been enjoying the sunsets. Like this one.
And this one was my favourite.
Silhouettes of cranes at Hisingen island.
One evening I side-braided my hair. Thought to myself that I was one of those long haired ladies in movies who braid their hair at night in front of a large mirror in a candlelit room. Then I laughed really hard.
"OBEY THE MARKET MASTER!"
I just love this photo from the fair the other day. I like to imagine that he controls everybody with tiny, invisible strings, like a puppet master.
Yesterday on a fleamarket in Majorna I found these two cuties. I got them really cheap and I actually think they are quite collectable. I love Moomins. My friend Jenny loves them even more so I bought the bigger one for her.
The rest of the day was spent with my lovely theatre group Teater Esther. This is Lovisa and Frida eating sushi in Redbergsparken.
And this is Hanna and Olle. They are cool. As you can see. Lisa was there too but didn't stick on any photo apparently. She's cool too, I promise.
You will meet them all in a post later this week...
We were rehersing on the play we are doing. Imagine this is a beach.
This is Siv giving Ingrid a neck massage. Or Lovisa and Hanna. Hard to tell when they are in costume...
Me? I looked like this. Of course.
And I'll end this post with a glimpse of my shockingly white bare legs waiting for the ferry earlier today.
My phone is filled with photos from this week. Let's take a peek.
Last saturday I had to work extra and on my way there I stopped to look at my city from across the water. I work at an island called Hisingen that's a part of Gothenburg.
I went to buy some sushi to bring to work. Speed in my steps.
It was Göteborgsvarvet that day. A half marathon going through Gothenburg every year. The runners pass just outside my work so we had a great view.
A dog living the good life.
Some fresh mint tea with honey one late evening after work.
Olskroken by night. This is my neighbourhood.
On the ferry going to work. I take the bike to and from the ferry. I love this so much; the two best ways to travel.
View from the ferry. They used to build ships here. Not so much anymore I think, maybe just repairs. Not sure though.
Sankt Pauli church right next to where I live. I pass this every day and sometimes, during night time, it looks just like Hogwarts.
One morning I realised my hair has become insanely long. I really need to go to a hairdresser!
Yesterday I was supposed to meet a friend for coffee at Trädgårdsföreningen.
When I got there rain clouds took over the sky. We had to go to a café with roof instead. I snapped this just before I left. I love this place.
Went to a café at the Central station instead.
On my way home I passed this parkway. It's so green! Spring has exploded over Gothenburg this last week.
Yours truly from the sofa late last night.
Went for an evening stroll yesterday. It was green everywhere.
This man was a telegraph officer when he lived.
I easily get hypnotised with rust.
This door is so beautiful.
One man had a grave chamber that was the size of a castle. He had a sphinx with uneven boobs, a bunch of pillars and statues of crying naked ladies. I wonder if he deserved that.
Aaah, so green!
On our way back we found a grave that was a bit open. David dared to peek inside. There was nothing in it.

On our evening stroll yesterday I was thinking about what happens with the gravestones after the relatives stop paying the rent for the grave. Are they sanded down or are they sent to a gravestone cemetary? A sign informed us that it's possible to buy a "recycled grave" where the stones are sanded down. I was kind of dissapointed. How awesome wouldn't it be with a gravestone cemetary for all discarded gravestones! It would make the best scary movie ever!
Besides, I am really fascinated with the fact that we people take up space even after we are dead. We've left our life but still keep a spot to call our own. The size of that spot is completely decided by wealth. And if you have the money to build a extravagant mausoleum you might even get a landmark status so you'll never have to worry about being someones recycled grave.
We are a strange bunch, us living.
marknad. Vi ses väl där?

Yesterday was one of those calm but productive days. Blog and photo job in front of the computer before we went out in the early summer to buy some cheese and fruit. Smelled (and photographed) the flowers and went home and ate indian food on the balcony. All the trees are green and fluffy now and I really don't know how that happened. I have been working hard on the homepage days and nights and it feels like I've missed out on the first days of spring. From now on it's me and springtime, ok!?
In the evening I stationed myself in the couch with some jewelry work and a not so good romantic comedy and celebrated the re-launch of lottalosten.com with a lovely cheeseplatter.
Today is all about preparing for tomorrows market.
