Have you seen our latest horror short Attic Panic yet? If not- DO THAT RIGHT AWAY!
Now, when you've seen it let's take a peek behind the scenes. We filmed in our attic, and as always it was just David and me. That calls for some clever movie making. David is a master at that and with my help we could use what we have around the house to make this horror short happen.
Check out the behind the scenes video that David put together for a glimpse of the work put into making Attic Panic. Includes: a lot of interesting information, blood, kissing and a dusty ass. -Everything you need!
Oh, and here's a couple of photos of David in action.
And that was that little peek behind the scenes of Attic Panic. Did you find it interesting?
Yesterday David and I couldn't wait anymore! We wanted to go film in the woods, snow and cold weather be damned! So we put on lots and lots of clothes, packed the car and went to that place I told you about in my last post. We thought it would be less snow in the woods because of all the trees... HA! Stupid city folk! There was so much snow! And nobody had walked there before us so it was all untouched and incredibly beautiful. We had planned for a film set in a mossy green forest but this, this was just even more amazing!
The long walk was tricky but beautiful and I had to stop and take photos along the way.
Look at my feet. Yeah. We hadn't even reached our destination yet and they already looked like that. I'm not really known for my weather appropriate (appropriate schmappropriate) clothes and even though these particular shoes are my most responsible ones they are not meant to hike in snow like this for hours...
Trees were bowing under the heavy snow.
And on top of the hill there was a little red cottage. I am so curious how in earth they got the material up there to build that thing! There are no roads and the paths are sometimes very tight. I just don't get it. It's perfecly situated on top of a hill with a wonderful view over a lake, so I definitely understand wanting the cottage at that exact spot.
An old house structure (or something like that) with snow covered stairs.
Hard to see but the small path goes underneath that fallen tree. We could stand underneath it with the tree barely touching our heads.
It was so extremely cold though and after a few hours it was impossible to keep the longing for warmth out of our minds. We kept going for another hour or so. Coffee and fried egg sandwiches helped a little but after four hours it was just not happening anymore. We could no longer feel our feet and hands, more than an instense aching, and it felt really weird to walk on feet that didn't know when they touched the ground. So we gave up for the day and went home. We promised to return as quickly as our shoes had dryed and that will hopefully be tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be warmer then. Yay for our hands and feet, but possibly not so good for the beautiful scenery. We'll just have to hope for the best.
When we came home and shredded our cold and wet clothes in favour of warm and dry ones, we heated some soup and cozied up under blankets for the rest of the evening. It is quite interesting how the body feels extremely cold at the same time as the skin feels like a furnace.
And if we go back tomorrow we will experience it all over again.
(I'm thinking of covering my feet with first a pair of socks, then plastic bags, then another pair of socks on top of that to keep the wet snow from reaching my feet. Ingenious, right?)
Hej! We are in a creative flow like no other! Today David and I uploaded a new little horror short, and let me tell you, I am so incredibly proud of this one! We are both in this little film, so you get to see a little bit of David this time too! It's quite different from our previous films in the Apartment trilogy but not less scary. Just different. It's called Not so fast and it's not even two minutes long.
I think it's awesome, If I may say so myself, and I hope you think so too!
As usual David and I made the movie without any other people involved. That makes for some really interesting behind the scenes clips, so we thought we'd show you exactly how it looked when we filmed this, just the two of us.
This also explains really well how David made all the lights and equipment we used to make this film. Really worth the watch!
I hope you enjoy the fruits of our creative flow! See you soon.
You guys are so awesome. Im a HUGE horror fan and always check out your short films plus I love your pretty blog. #bigfan Keep up the good work!

Hello! Time for a Two Two Two again, and today seems to be mostly about elevators and mirrors. Some days just are like that, right? Okay, let's go:
Two from the funky elevator of my friends apartment building: One with kisses, and one with sunglasses. You have to choose you know. You can't have both.
Two from a little midnight filming: One in the elevator with David's fabulously constructed IKEA dustbin/tinfoil lamp, and one from our basement that looks extra scary in the middle of the night.
Two self portraits taken with the TimerCam app: One showing off my extremely pale legs that never before had seen the sun, and one where I'm sporting my new (and extremely purple) bike shorts.
This last one needs a little more explaining, I think, so I'm stealing the text I wrote on my instagram: "I'm calling this one 'Philosofical in bike shorts' Remember the horrid bike shorts era? Well, for me it's more a sake of having intact inner thighs than a fashion statement. Because of the extreme heat wave here in Sweden I've had to succumb and leave my beloved tights at home. Yesterday I went on a bike shorts hunt and apparently I'm not the only one with evil inner thighs in war with eachother because the shorts were sold out in every single store except for the sports store. So now I'm a hot pink bike shorts kind of gal. Who would've thought!"
