Hi!
Well, this turned into another unwanted blog pause because of a stupid cold. David gave me his (thanks, babe!) and together we've been partners in snot and coughing as well as matrimony.
Yesterday evening I was so frustrated with not doing anything but sleeping, watching movies and reading that I decided it was time to venture outside for the first time since forever (or wednesday, but same same...).
When I arrived at the cemetery (where else would I go?) I got the idea to take self portraits with my iPhone all over the park and use the surroundings as best as I could, so that's what I did.
I always get this extreme surge of creativity when I'm sick and I get crazy if I don't do something about it. So however small this might seem, it felt absolutely wonderful to walk around in the evening sun, look at statues, grave stones and flowers and try to come up with a nice picture with me in every single one of them.
I won't talk anymore, it's better to just show you, right?

I made some new friends, got some air in my lungs, smelled the flowers and when I got home, no more than an hour later, I was asbolutely knackered. I was back in the sofa again but feeling quite satisfied with having used my creativity for the first time in days.
And if you're curious about the technical aspects of this post I used the self timer app TimerCam to take the photos with my iPhone and then I edited them with the VSCOcam app.
I hope you enjoyed this little collection of self portraits sprung from the complete boredom of having a stupid cold.

Hej!
After work yesterday evening David and I went for a little walk in the warm summer evening. We took the route over the cemetery Östra Kyrkogården since it's close to where we live and beyond beautiful at this time of the year.
The rhododendron are on their last breath right now. Like last year I've been completely obsessed with this colorful flower and can't believe I haven't really noticed them before.
I think they are breathtakingly beautiful.
Huh!? What's that hanging from the arm of that statue lady?
A baby hat! Let's fix it.
There! That's much better.
Thombstones and Rhododendron. Such a great book title.
Just standing here all relaxed for a little while...
Here! Have a flower!
D'aaaaw! Isn't he the prettiest of them all? I sure think so.
I think my new favourite thing is to take photos of David with flowers behind his ear/
in his beard.
Rust and peeled off paint; me and my camera can't resist it.
The Chief of Police seems to be crying.
Running! Jumping! Skipping merrily towards my love!
I'm all smiles.
This castle used to be a prison and is now a house for culture in all forms. Me and my friends in the theatre group Teater Esther are rehearsing there every week. Like tonight!
Greeeeeen! This is also where I go for my evening runs. It's the perfect place for running, in my opinion. Beatiful and calm.
On the way home I stopped for a couple of pretty flowers.
Soooo, I'm off to theatre rehearsals now.
See you soon again!

Hello!
Time for a Two Two Two (+ bonus Two Two because I'm the worst at limiting myself).
Two of extreme green:
One from a walk into town through a lovely green park, and one from an evening run over the cemetery when it was finally raining after a few days of complete headache infusing heat wave.
Two things I ate:
One home made noodle soup that tasted a little bit like heaven, and one slice of cake eaten at work a saturday while the half marathon Göteborgsvarvet was going on right below the balcony.
Two of me wearing the same vintage dress while doing the same very relaxed pose.
One with mustard yellow socks and sunglasses and one without the mustard yellow socks and sunglasses. It's all in the details, folks.
Two still life photos with my grandmothers old scarf as background:
One with a very fragile leaf, and one with one of the Leaf pendants from my new collection.
Two pictures of parts of my forever growing vintage porcelain collection:
One of the kitchen cabinet with all my many teacups and one of the shelves containing some of my teapots. Yes, SOME. I'm clearly a tea pot addict.
Two of me on my way to vote.
One of me sniffing the rhododendron and one with a smile as wide as my face.
Like most of you probably now, yesterday was the big election for the European Parliament. As a very proud and loud feminist I was so happy to see that the wonderful feminist party
F! got seats in the parliament but at the same time there's such a wave of sadness and fear because of the many racist- and nazi parties that also made their way into EU. I just can't understand how it all seems to happen again, that these hateful, ignorant and extremely stupid people get so many votes. Haven't we learned from the past? Are people really this stupid?
I hope what we see now is the last kick and that it will turn soon because we need more love, equality and acceptance in this world, not more hate, closed mindedness and bigotry.
Well, that was all from me today. I hope to blog soon again because a week inbetween posts is just not okay, right?

Hello hello hello!
Time for a Lights Out update because Oh boy things have been happening!
Not only have the film been seen by a crazy amount of people (5.3 million views on our
youtube upload, 8.6 million on
vimeo and with all the uploads from other people we're talking AT LEAST 16 million views in total) it has also been, and is announced to be, screened at a couple of festivals over the world (Lyon, Edinburgh, Salt Lake City, Telluride among others) but last week we also found out that Lights Out won Best Short film at
FANT Bilbao. Such wonderful news!
We were asked to send a Thank you Video for their big closing ceremony and we made a cute little video that I thought you might want to see.
Look how happy we are!
My English sounds quite horrible but I'm blaming it all on giddyness or nerves or the high amount of pollen or an alien invasion or maybe something else entirely.
Hehe, I love the uncoordinated Thank you's in the end. We filmed a couple of more proper ones but this was just too cute to leave out.
That's all for now but I hope you're having at least two things to look forward to this week. It could be the smallest thing, really. I am looking forward to a giant outdoors fleamarket and a picnic. And having the weekend off work. And spring time! And And And...!
