Had to show you some of the lovely things I thrifted today!
A small suitcase. Isn't it so pretty!? I don't really need it but how could I say no to it when it sat there on the ground looking all cute? I just couldn't.
A heap of crystals from an old chandelier. I use them in my jewelry as you might know. I used to have loads of them but a while ago I realised that my box was almost empty! Oh no! I was so happy to find these for a really great price.
And the best thing! A teeny tiny dictionary!
So cute!!
Not sure I would call oatmeal porrige a soup though...
I thought it would be cute to take a photo of the translation for Love to show you non swedish speaking people about Kärlek, but when I did I noticed the L in Love was missing! Oh dear, what is Love without the L?
-OVE!
(...And that's a man's name in Sweden.)

This is me from sunday. Ready for some fleamarket fun!
It was a giant fleamarket in the part of town called Majorna. The people living there take over the entire neighbourhood of Majorna the last sunday of may every year and turn it into the most amazing fleamarket. You could walk around there an entire day if you want to.
Stuff for sale everywhere!
My emerald green legs.
My favourite street in Majorna. This neighborhoud is such an amazing part of Gothenburg. I dream about living there someday.
This made me smile. So clever to bring a bookshelf for all the things!
A vase with barbies, anyone?
I wanted all of these art deco earrings! ALL OF THEM! Sadly they were not so great at making nickel safe jewelry at that time so I had to make do with taking photos of them instead.
What's with the smoke over there?
Grill time!
And here's one of the things following me home that day. A lovely rust orange cardigan for only 20 kronor ($2,70)!

On the flea market yesterday I bought two silver plates on stands. I plan on using them as jewelry display when I attend fairs.
I know, they are dirty and distressed and I really should polish them. Should. I'm not so sure I want to though, I happen to like the look of them.

After work today David and I headed to GÃ¥rda. It's a part of Gothenburg with old neglected houses that the city wants to tear down. There have not been any renovations done for a very long time and the people living in the houses are doing so under the fear of being evicted any day. There's a lot of artists and creative people living in GÃ¥rda and to raise awareness for the neighbourhood they organize a flea market once a year. The city neglects these houses until there is nothing left to do but tear them down, but many people think (me included) that they should restore the entire neighbourhood instead like they did in the now incredibly beautiful part of town called Haga. It's so sad to see these lovely houses get destroyed.
The fleamarket was held at the courtyard behind this house.
Look at that man with the hat and mustache! Fabulous!
A really happy Lotta with today's finds. A dress, a skirt and two silver plates with stands. All for only 60 kr (8.4 USD)!
