I'm off from my other work for the rest of the week (I work part time at a home for people with neorolgical disorders) and had big plans with the sun. We were going to sit on warm benches in parks, sip coffee outside a café or just skip happily to the grocery store together. Me and the sun. Well, the sun seems to be off work as well because it's been raining raining raining for forever it seems.
So what to do? I take my camera, put on some slippers and go out on my balcony to capture the evil rain standing between me and my adventures! That's what I'll do.
At work yesterday a glass of water caught my eye.
My friend and colleague Emelie with Gothenburg in her shades.
Coffee in my lap.
710 at my feet.
A fairytale forest, or just outside my house?
My shadow on a wall.
Coffee at home with lots of milk, cardemom and cinnamon.
Cage necklace pendant with three different coloured tulle inside.
A man on a motorcycle.
My lovely vintage teapot collection. Not all of it though...
Squinting behind a water cup on one of those warm days last week.
Gothenburg from our theatre rehersal place a.k.a an old classrooom.
It's green outside! Finally!
Walking by the water one of those first amazing days at Eriksberg, Hisingen island.
Yours truly.

I'm taking loads of photos with my phone nowadays. I'm documenting my days and really enjoy how fast and simple it is (my last phone took forever to take just one photo).
These are some photos from the last couple of weeks and if you want to follow along on instagram you can find me there as lottalosten.

It was a great day for some thrifting!
Don't mind my crazy face. Look at that velvet cape!
I. Want. That. Phone.
Happy with stuffed bag filled with thrifted goodies.
Well. Yeah.
(And yes, that is our house and David you can see in my shades.)

Yesterday David and I went to a fleamarket that takes place almost every weekend during the summer months. This was the first weekend for the season. I didn't have that much money on me but that really doesn't matter when you are thrifting. Lots of shopping for almost no money!
Among other things I bought a lovely black velvet cape for only $4.30! Sometimes I get really pleased with myself and my thrifting skills.

Yesterday was one of those calm but productive days. Blog and photo job in front of the computer before we went out in the early summer to buy some cheese and fruit. Smelled (and photographed) the flowers and went home and ate indian food on the balcony. All the trees are green and fluffy now and I really don't know how that happened. I have been working hard on the homepage days and nights and it feels like I've missed out on the first days of spring. From now on it's me and springtime, ok!?
In the evening I stationed myself in the couch with some jewelry work and a not so good romantic comedy and celebrated the re-launch of lottalosten.com with a lovely cheeseplatter.
Today is all about preparing for tomorrows market.
