Two of me in my two favourite vintage coats.
I bought the first one a year ago in a thrift store for almost no money at all. The old lady working there told me it was handmade by a tailor. I don't know what decade it might be from (anybody who knows?) but it's amazingly well done and it's so beautiful I just can't seem to stop smiling when I'm wearing it (or staring at it when I'm not wearing it).
The second coat is another gorgeous second hand find. It's so fancy and I love the colours and the collar and you should see the back! Yes, I might have to show you that some day, it's that pretty.
Two glimpses of my home.
The first one is of the living room and my favourite corner. The paintings are made by my grandfather. I love his work so much and think these two ships looks so nice there. And I like how the model ship made by my uncle casts its shadow over the sideboard, like it knows they belong together.
The second glimpse is of my messy desk. Kind of how it always looks. Lots of stuff cluttering the edges of the desk space while I'm working on editing photos of jewelry to be listed in the etsy shop and then, of course, the mandatory large tea cup never leaving my side.
Two Semlor.
A semla is a swedish traditional sweet roll. It's stuffed with almond paste and then under the little hat lots of whipped cream. We eat it every year at this time until easter. It's really tasty and every year swedish cities have competitions deciding where they make the best semla and then everybody goes there and stand in line to eat the best semla the city has to offer. It's all very cute.
The first picture is a miniature semla that I got at work a couple of weeks ago and the second semla is normal size. Semlor can be eaten as the are or in hot milk. Either way is delicious.
The day has come! Bush Willow Pendant is finally in my
etsy shop!
I've been making lots and lots of these pendants lately and there will be many more in the near future.
Here you can see four of the seven I've listed so far. Follow the links under the photos to each jewelry listing.
Inspired by the beautiful seed pod called Bush Willow that I found on my trip to South Africa last year. You can see the real bush willows laying beside the jewelry pieces in all the photos.
And finally some photos that David took of me in october with one of the very first Bush Willow Pendants. I've meant to show them to you a lot sooner but somehow life came in between.
Now they're in the shop though! I hope you like them as much as I do.
Oh, one more thing!
I'm going to USA in march and I'm planning to bring lots of my jewelry with me.
I will be in San José for a few days and then about a week in Los Angeles so if you know of any nice shops where my jewelry will be a perfect fit: Please please please let me know!
The Bush Willow Pendant wants to be spread by the wind all the way to the states!
Sometimes I find photos in my computer that I've chosen to edit but for some reason haven't put here on the blog. Most times they are just left behind and forgotten but some of them wants to be blogged, and who am I to say no then?
So here are twenty random, pretty, weird, funny and even scary photos from the last four months that were too good to end up unblogged and forgotten.
It was autumn but the moss was green like summer.
Mushrooms were found.
Mushrooms are weird and beautiful.
The bark on the trees looked like landscapes from outer space.
When the trees were fiery orange we started to film
a movie at the cemetery.
Hanna could fit in any scary movie. Olle is yet unaware of the evil sitting beside him.
Winter landed on the roofs of Gothenburg.
The city was cold and bright.
One december day I was treated to brunch at Hagabadet with Becka.
I don't think you understand how full I was when we left.
The sunset view from our balcony was nothing short of amazing.
And the one from my job was quite perfect too.
Snuggling feet one lazy sunday morning.
A piece of jewelry in the making.
Meeting with Hanna in her kitchen. We are planning great things together.
Coffee and ideas.
One evening I met up with Becka at a restaurant.
It was a weekday and we were both tired and in some serious need of talking, sipping wine and eating nice food.
Cozy bar lights.
I'll end this post with one hell of a scary photo of Hanna from the first evening of our week of filming at Österlen. Film directors of scary movies: Look! You have your next star!
End of random photo post. For this time.

Hello hello!
So, I'm battling my second cold this year complete with brain emptying sneezes and a constant feeling of having cotton wool pressing up behind my eyes.
But still super sexy, I promise. Ahem.
One day last week I got the sudden urge to look through my bulging wardrobe to see if I could find the coral beret I bought on a flea market a couple of years ago. I didn't find it.
Instead I found this raspberry red beret that I've had since I was about 9 or 10 years old.
It's actually the second one I had because the first one got snatched from my head by some older boys on the school yard. I remember telling a teacher and pointing to the the boys where they were laughing and playing with my beret, like some evil Disney villains. The teacher just shrugged and kept on walking.
So I went home and cried to my parents and then got a new beret in the exact same colour a couple of days later.
When I was a kid it might have been a bit too big and now it's definitely on the smaller side, but I don't care. It looks nice and I love that it's somewhat a part of my history. What makes me who I am.
Well, I'm maybe not so scared of older boys and stupid teachers anymore, but it's a memory of my childhood and the beret is kind of a capsule for that part of me.
A time capsule in deep raspberry red.
